Buyer terms

These terms apply to licensed insurance professionals who buy leads from Florida Coverage Compare. Your individual order confirmation sets your pricing and volume and takes priority if it differs.

Who can buy

You must hold an active Florida insurance license for each line of business you buy. You'll tell us right away if your license lapses or is suspended.

Pricing

Leads are sold at a flat price per lead. We never take a commission or share of any policy you write. Prices on this site are starting rates and may change; your confirmed price applies to each order.

Exclusive and shared leads

Exclusive leads are delivered to one buyer only and are not resold. Shared leads are delivered to no more than three buyers.

Lead credits

Report a lead within 72 hours of delivery if the phone number is disconnected or wrong, the ZIP code is outside Florida, it duplicates a lead you bought in the last 30 days, or it's plainly fake. Approved reports are credited or replaced. No credits or refunds are given for leads that don't answer, don't call back, or don't buy. Following up until you make contact is the buyer's responsibility.

Outcome reporting and Top Closer status

We ask you to record the outcome of each lead in your agent portal. Outcome data is used to rank agents and route leads. Top Closer status is reviewed regularly and can change; it gives priority access to leads, not a price change.

Your compliance duties

  • Contact leads only about the line of insurance they asked about.
  • Follow the federal TCPA, the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act and Do Not Call rules, including calling hours and attempt limits.
  • Honor opt-out requests immediately and tell us about them.
  • Don't resell or share leads without our written permission.

Sole responsibility for contact

Florida Coverage Compare delivers consumer inquiries together with the consent record captured at submission. Once a lead is delivered, Buyer is solely responsible for every communication Buyer, its employees, agents, vendors and dialing systems make to that consumer, including compliance with the TCPA, the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, federal and state Do Not Call rules, calling-hour and attempt limits, caller identification, opt-out handling, Florida Department of Financial Services rules, and all insurance licensing and advertising laws.

Indemnification

Buyer will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Florida Coverage Compare and its owners, officers, contractors and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, lawsuits, regulatory actions, fines, penalties, damages, settlements, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to (a) any communication made by or for Buyer to any consumer; (b) Buyer's breach of these terms; (c) any quote, advice, application, policy or service Buyer provides; or (d) Buyer's violation of any law or regulation. This obligation survives termination.

Independent contractor

Buyer is an independent business. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship. Buyer has no authority to bind Florida Coverage Compare.

Limitation of liability

Leads are provided as-is, except for the credits described above, which are Buyer's sole and exclusive remedy for any defective lead. Florida Coverage Compare is not liable for any lost profits, lost commissions or indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount Buyer paid for the specific leads giving rise to the claim.

Acceptance

Buyer accepts these terms by signing the buyer agreement electronically, and again by purchasing, accepting or using any lead. Electronic signatures are legally binding under the federal E-SIGN Act and the Florida Uniform Electronic Transaction Act.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

Payment

Orders are prepaid or billed weekly as agreed. Undelivered prepaid balances are refundable on request.

No guarantee of results

We deliver consumer inquiries, not sales. Contact and close rates depend on your follow-up and the market.
